Concept
MEPS is based on the concept of EPS.
Through the use of MEPS the traditional system of
purchasing a maintenance assignment at an hourly rate or at a tendered
price per individual assignment is replaced by a fixed price per standard product.
EPS breaks down manual work into small,
consistent, and understandable parts and
assigns them values in mWu. With competition
on price per mWu a new market is created.

Market system
MEPS utilises EPS in a way that provides for
outstanding marketing possibilities between purchasers,
contractors and subcontractors. It allows for
a market system permitting almost perfect competition, with
workable communication between purchasers,
contractors and subcontractors. It renders incentive
leading to efficient production, short-term, with a long-term
development of the whole sphere.

Implementation
MEPS is based on Windows. A successful
application of MEPS requires that both
purchaser and contractor are familiar with the system
and are equipped with the program. A user needs
a minimum two-day basic MEPS course in order to
handle the system.
